Fort Boonesborough State Park

We stayed here in our motorhome in April 2015. This State Park campground has full hook-ups. There are showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities. There is a small grocery store at the check-in area. The showers did have privacy locking doors which was nice. The showers did not have alot of light, so it was hard to rate how clean they were. They did not look sparkling clean that is for sure. I would definitely wear sandals while showering. A 50 foot water hose is required for reaching the water hook-ups. Quite a few big rigs were there, so it is big rig friendly. Super friendly camp host. The campground backs up to a quarry, so you can hear the sound of trucks braking and backing up throughout the night. The campground also sits next to a local road that receives a good amount of traffic that you can hear at night. The noise coming from the road and the quarry makes it feel one step up from boon-docking at a Walmart. I would stay here again if passing through, but would not make this a destination. WIFi is available for $3.99 per day.
