My Argosy Rear Bath Shower Fix

Prior to my first trip out, I replaced the shower curtain.  I took great pains to cut out a new curtain and install snaps to match the original shower snap pattern. On my inaugural trip in “George”, I discovered a flaw in the bathroom design. The ledge and seat designs allow water to run behind the curtain and onto the floor!  Yikes!  Of course this wasn’t an issue when we parked with a slight lean to the curb side.  It is more noticeable with a slight lean to the road side.

After analyzing the issue, I spent some time wandering to isles at Lowe’s before I found some 1×2 PVC planks.  I thought those would be perfect.  They won’t rot if they get wet. They are durable, and it looks presentable. For my installation, I just used silicone caulk to adhere them to the tub basin.  I didn’t want to drill holes into the unit. The new PVC wall diverts the water back into the tub. Here are two pictures of my fix.

Happy Travels,

Fred
